전의 블루스 싱어들뿐 아니라 60년대이후 수없이 많은 Rock그
룹과 싱어들에 의해 불리워진 곡인데 Tommy Bolin. Joe Cocker.
Eric Burdon & The Animals등 각자의 특이한 창법으로 소화한
곡이죠.
가사의 내용은, 불치병으로 세인트 제임스 병원에 입원해 있는
연인에 대한 사랑을 노래한 것으로, 나의 반쪽인 그녀와 같은
여자는 세상 어디서도 다시는 만날 수 없는 그런 사람이니 차
라리 그 연인을 대신해 자신을 죽여달라고 애원하는 그런 애절
한 내용 입니다.
