Katie Melua(케이티 멜루아,1984년생)은 Gruziya(구,소련)에서 태어난 영국 팝재즈 싱어이다.
8살때 영국 북아일랜드로 이주, 다시 14살때 영국으로 이주했다고 하며, 재능과 미모를
겸비하고 있고, 블루스에 기반을 둔 재즈와 포크 등을 혼재한 사운드를 구사하고 있다.
호소력 있는 목소리와 Singer/Songwrighter의 재능까지 겸비한 차세대 스타이고 영국 음악계의
거물 프로듀서 Michael Batt의 지휘 하에 제작된 데뷔 앨범 'Call Off The Search'는
영국 앨범챠트 5주간 1위와 14주간 Top 10을 기록하며, 음악계에서 각광을 받기 시작했고
두번째 앨범인 'Piece by piece' 이외의 앨범들도 모두 좋다.
