'70년대 사이키델릭 시대를 블루스 락으로 화려하게 수놓았던
그룹'Ten Years After'...
흑인 블루스 광(狂)으로 기타를 치고 노래하는 "Alvin Lee "가
그룹의 리더이자 간판이며
왼손의 힘이 강해서 굵고 남성적인 연주를 들려 주는 연주자로
정평이 나 있습니다.


코드를 짚는 왼손의 손목 힘이 엄청나다고 하는 Alvin Lee는
경이적인 핑거링으로 Woodstock Live에서 Jimi Hendrix와 함께
전세계의 음악 팬들을 놀라게 했었습니다.


74년 그룹의 해체이후, 솔로활동을 하면서 보여주는 음악적
성향은 70년대 중반이후의 A0R (성인취향의 부담없이 즐길 수
있는 록)으로 변해버려 다소 실망감을 안겨 주기는 합니다만
그의 음악적 근간이 블루스에 있음은 변함없습니다.
